The FinaMetrica Risk Tolerance Toolkit™ was launched in 1998. It was developed and trialled in Australia over four years with the assistance of the University of New South Wales. The Toolkit™ is now maintained with expertise from the London School of Economics, and has gained international recognition as world's best practice. Its reliability and validity is backed by over one million uses by thousands of financial advisors in over 20 countries.

    Paul Resnik commenced in the financial services industry in Australia in 1970.

    Since then he has worked in a broad array of roles including establishing and being founding executive of financial planning, funds management and life insurance businesses.

    Since 1991 he has been an industry consultant providing product and distribution advice to all of Australia’s major banks, life companies and most funds managers and financial planning groups.

    Paul is a regular commentator on industry issues in both the media and on conference stage.

    Steve is a Chartered Accountant, Registered Company Auditor, Registered SMSF Auditor and Registered Tax Agent.

    Steve spent 35 years in public practice (including as a principal) offering professional services to SME’s. After leaving public practice in 2002, Steve has worked mainly as a CFO and company secretary for companies involved in the financial services industry.

    Andrew entered the investment and financial industry in 1984 from owning his own business as a Land and Business Agent. In 1989 he founded his own Securities Licencee, Financial Management Services (FMS) as a joint venture with a Chartered Accountancy practice.

    That year he was elected State Chairman and Board member of ASIFA.

    In 1993 he established Symetry Ltd which he developed to a stage where in 1999 he negotiated a joint venture with Perpetual Trustees. That money management platform administered over $1.7bill of client’s monies.

    In 2000 FMS was one of the earliest adopters of FinaMetrica’s risk profiling system; implementing it for all existing and new clients during the next 5 years.

    From that positive experience Andrew became a strong advocate for the system and he became a FinaMetrica shareholder and director in 2008.

    Since 1984 he has held directorships with three other successful fund management companies as well as authoring two subjects for Deakin University , the Philosophy of money management and Construction of investment portfolios.

    Nicki has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry spanning across sales and marketing, research and development and operations. Nicki offers valuable insight and technical expertise to ensure clients' expectations are met and exceeded.

    Nicki joined the FinaMetrica team in 2002, after completing her Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Information Systems) at the University of New South Wales.

    During her time at FinaMetrica, Nicki completed her Graduate Diploma in Psychology at the University of Sydney and her Diploma in Financial Services - Financial Planning.

    When time and weather permits, Nicki enjoys hiking and camping out in the Australian bush.

    Alan joined the FinaMetrica team in December 2002, after completing his Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Information Systems) at the University of New South Wales. During his time at FinaMetrica, he completed various certificates in Network Administration from TAFE NSW and ultimately went on to undertake further studies at UNSW.

    In 2006, Alan completed his Master of Commerce (majoring in Strategic Value Management) with a strong focus on Intellectual Capital and Knowledge Management.

    Alan has been dubbed as the "dessert connoisseur" of the office and is known for his broad sartorial knowledge, which he frequently shares with colleagues.

    Meseret joined FinaMetrica in May 2017.  She is a CPA graduate accountant with several years of experience in various industries. 
    Outside of work Meseret enjoys socialising, sightseeing and travelling.

    Albert joined the FinaMetrica team in 2016. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Econometrics (majoring in Finance, Econometrics and Actuarial Studies) and has 4 years’ experience within financial services.

    Outside of work Albert enjoys the world of combat sports and video games.

Tyler is responsible for driving FinaMetrica’s business strategy in the American market. He began working in investment management in England with Oxford University spin-off consultancy, Oxford Risk Research & Analysis, Ltd. He was brought to Oxford for his entrepreneurial abilities in order to commercialise the company’s behavioural finance and risk tolerance research.

Tyler speaks often on risk-related matters at leading universities and premier industry events.  He has been interviewed by Bloomberg, Smart Money, Wall Street Journal MarketWatch, InvestmentNews, Financial Advisor IQ, WSB-TV Atlanta and WRKO Boston, amongst others, and has served as a risk consultant and expert witness in multibillion-dollar class action lawsuits in both state and U.S. federal courts.  He has directed behavioural finance and risk tolerance research studies at Oxford University, Emory University, Georgia State University, SEI Investments and Capital One.

Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in International Business with Distinction from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

Roderic Rennison is FinaMetrica’s Strategic Partner in the UK. His whole career spanning more than 40 years has been spent in financial services, encompassing a variety of roles ranging from sales, sales management, strategy, product development and proposition and latterly, corporate activity together with regulatory focus. He works with FinaMetrica to provide support in the development of their activities in the UK and in particular focuses on FinaMetrica’s relationships with enterprise clients in relation to digital/”robo” advice, mapping, and suitability.
